Instalment Summary

This membership is a 12-month contract, paid monthly by Direct Debit or Via Card.

Your first payment is £29, followed by five monthly payments of £39, then six monthly payments of £49.

The discounted introductory rate is offered in return for your commitment to the full 12-month minimum term.

After the initial 12-month term, your membership will continue on a rolling monthly basis at the applicable membership rate unless you choose to cancel in accordance with your membership agreement.

All members must comply with the terms of their membership agreement. These terms are designed to provide fairness, clarity and consistency for all members and are applied subject to your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Switching from another gym?

If you’re currently a member of another gym, please check the terms of your existing membership before joining us.

In particular, check:

  • When your current minimum term ends

  • How much notice you need to give

  • How you need to cancel — for example, online, by email or in writing

  • When your final payment will be taken

  • Whether any outstanding fees or charges apply

  • That you have received confirmation of your cancellation

Please don’t assume that cancelling your Direct Debit automatically cancels your membership agreement.

Our £10 switching discount reduces your first payment to £29 and is designed to make the transition to your new membership a little easier.

Your membership with us is a separate 12-month agreement and is not dependent on the cancellation or expiry of your previous gym membership.

Is this a 12-month contract?

Yes. By joining, you are agreeing to a minimum 12-month membership period from your membership start date.

If you purchase your membership online, you may also have a statutory cooling-off period where applicable. Please refer to your membership agreement for full details.

Why is the price lower for the first 6 months?

We want to reward members who are ready to make a longer-term commitment.

Your membership is therefore discounted to £39 per month for the first 6 months, before moving to £49 per month for months 7–12.

We’re also giving you an additional £10 off your first month, making your first payment just £29, to help towards the cost of switching from your current gym or membership.

Can I cancel during the 12-month term?

This membership comes with a 12-month minimum commitment, so it is not intended to be cancelled simply because you change your mind during the minimum term.

Your statutory rights are not affected. If your circumstances change or you believe you have grounds to end your membership early, please contact us to discuss your situation and refer to the cancellation provisions in your membership agreement.

Can I freeze, transfer or change this membership?

This discounted membership is offered on the basis of a 12-month commitment and cannot normally be frozen, transferred or amended during the minimum term, subject to any rights set out in your membership agreement or applicable law.

What happens after the 12-month term ends?

Once your initial 12-month minimum term has been completed, your membership will continue on a rolling monthly basis unless you choose to cancel.

If you do not wish to continue, you can cancel in accordance with the notice provisions in your membership agreement. Where 10 days' notice applies, please contact us by email at bookthegym@gmail.com before your next payment is due.
